๐ต๐ธ Palestine (Gaza & West Bank) โ A Humanitarian Catastrophe
Since October 7, 2023, more than 46,645 people have been killed and over 110,012 injured in Gaza due to Israeli military aggression. Among the victims are thousands of women and children. In the West Bank and East Jerusalem, 816 people, including 182 children, have been killed, with 1,235 children injured. The total number of wounded exceeds 146,000. More than 90% of Gazaโs population has been forcibly displaced, while critical infrastructure like hospitals, schools, and mosques has been bombed. The destruction is estimated in the tens of billions of dollars, making this one of the most devastating conflicts in modern history. ([UNRWA, Wikipedia])

๐ฎ๐ณ Kashmir โ A Forgotten Conflict
Over the last three decades, the conflict in Indian-administered Kashmir has claimed the lives of approximately 70,000 Muslims. Countless others have suffered unlawful detention, torture, and forced disappearances. The region has been under constant military lockdown, with mass communication blackouts, internet restrictions, and severe limitations on civil liberties. Women in particular have faced sexual violence and humiliation during crackdowns. Human rights organizations have reported consistent abuses, yet international silence continues. Entire villages have been raided, youth have been blinded by pellet guns, and tens of thousands are imprisoned without trial. The economic loss in the valley is estimated at billions of dollars, with generational trauma affecting over 8 million people.

๐ฒ๐ฒ Myanmar (Rohingya Muslims) โ Ethnic Cleansing and Displacement
Since the brutal crackdown in 2017, at least 6,700 Rohingya Muslims were killed in the first month alone, with total casualties exceeding 9,000. Over 742,000 fled to Bangladesh, and currently, more than 1.1 million live in overcrowded refugee camps. Between 2021 and 2024, 2,471 airstrikes were carried out, resulting in 1,295 civilian deaths and 1,634 injuries. The military has destroyed 114 schools, 39 hospitals, and 187 religious sites, including mosques. Over 380,000 people have been displaced internally, while 800+ individuals, including women and children, died at sea trying to escape. The UN and other organizations have labeled these crimes as genocide and crimes against humanity.

๐จ๐ณ China (Uyghur Muslims) โ Cultural Erasure and Mass Internment
In Chinaโs Xinjiang region, over 1 million Uyghur Muslims have been detained in mass internment camps under the guise of counter-extremism. Reports confirm forced sterilization of women, suppression of Islamic practices, forced labor, destruction of mosques, and systematic efforts to erase Uyghur language and culture. Families have been separated, Qurans confiscated, and religious observance criminalized. Thousands of Uyghurs abroad have lost contact with their families. Despite international pressure, the Chinese government continues to deny wrongdoing. Global human rights watchdogs have classified these actions as crimes against humanity and called for immediate intervention and sanctions.

๐ข Conclusion & Global Call to Action
We, the World Muslimi Council, strongly condemn the atrocities committed against Muslims across Palestine, Kashmir, Myanmar, and China. These are not isolated incidents but part of a growing global pattern of Islamophobia, militarized occupation, and systematic oppression.
We urge the United Nations, OIC, and international bodies to:
โ
Demand immediate ceasefires and accountability
โ
Enforce international resolutions and humanitarian laws
โ
Provide emergency aid to displaced populations
โ
Investigate and prosecute war crimes and human rights violations
May Allah grant justice to the oppressed and unite the Ummah upon truth and strength.
We pledge to stand firm, speak out, and act โ until every oppressed Muslim is heard, healed, and honored.
